I did not catch up on all my missing math assignments and my brother picked up some japanese food so I ate that with him and his friend. interesting life.

I ask because I happened onto some of your text posts and found them sort of funny, actually. Funny and dorky. And I mean dorky in a very good way. You write well, too!

that’s so sweet even though I am consistently embarrassed by my text posts.

but thank you love! xo

Sounds fruitful. What do you think of people who major in what the present economy would deem trivial, unrealistic? (This may be more an American concern, less a Canadian.)

I would never think less of anyone for their choices. it’s logical, of course, to consider the applications of what one majors in, but I’m of the “follow your heart” opinion. my passion is for reproductive biology. gynaecology/obstetrics is, luckily, a very lucrative career in which I can apply my interests.

one can major in their passion and not be foolish. I think it’s all a matter of being smart about it, allowing for backups and deviations from the master plan and what have you. anyway, it seems that these days, at least in Canada, any degree can extend far beyond its intended field.

I’m not a good person to comment on this because I’ve always had some very concrete idea of what I would do with my life, no matter how much that idea changed. there’s never been that moment of “what the hell am I going to do” for me.

tl;dr I don’t look down on anyone ever ~*be yourself*~

20: In what do you plan on majoring?

I have human biology: genes & genetics on the application I sent out to my choice university and variations of this on my other applications.

I could rant about my future plans, but the bottom line is that I’ll major in biology and I’ll see what specific field catches my eye along the way.

weakness: insecurity regarding my intelligence

why I love my best friend: I don’t really have a best friend so I’m going to pick on Zoe & Jas. Zoe loves star wars, lady bods, and porn. she is a genuinely kind and I have never met anyone as funny as she. we get along swimmingly and she lets me hit on her gratuitously which is pretty much my main criterium for a friend. Jas has just been super constant throughout high school and she’s incredibly smart and talented and so beautiful that sometimes I want to lovingly stroke her cheek with my fist. also her taste in music is stellar.

biggest turn off(s): oh heavens. I have a really sensitive nose, so any less-than-pleasant smells are off the table, as well as crazy amounts of cologne/perfume. um, lots of makeup, narrow-mindedness, and general stupidity. it’s mostly a personality thing. otherwise it depends on whether I find them attractive or not.

perfect date: anon, you flirting? ‘cause I’m down. I’m not a big date person, so I’d rather just stay at home and laze about. if I’m feeling restless a walk through the city at night will do.

I will never get over Miley Cyrus at the VMAs.

School has started for me, and it’s my last year of high school. Therefore, I will be pretty focussed on my edumacation and won’t post as much or as often. Just thought I’d give a fair warning.

If you notice me posting a lot, feel free to send an ask my way with a virtual slap on the wrist.

Also, I might or might not be posting gratuitous pictures of Miley Cyrus tonight, because damn.
